    Seven years ago Craig Hollywood had an idea about haircuts. It was a simple idea and one that this Scottish-born civil engineer, and part-time radio host and DJ wasn’t even sure would actually work.

    With the help of a few barber friends and a whole swag of enthusiasm, Craig set up a makeshift barbers shop in a Perth carpark and Short Back & Sidewalks – a service offering free haircuts to Perth’s homeless – was born.
