About this listen

For today's episode, we are back with Reverend Edie Weinstein, LSW! Edie is Licensed Social Worker and psychotherapist. She’s a Reverend, author, journalist, a speaker, a grandmother and just an all around amazing human. She is also in her second round to be a TedX speaker so send her all the positive vibes, and her TedX talk is actually about the topic we’re speaking on today!

In this conversation, Edie and I are talking about consent. Now, most of us may think about the physical consent that the #metoo movement sparked conversations around. We do touch on sexual consent, but we also talk about the consent we use in our day to day lives. The consent we use with our friends, family, coworkers, children, and the consent we give ourselves. We talk about how giving and denying consent can be a form of self love by protecting yourself, your values, and your time among other things. This was such a powerful conversation, and we're excited for you to listen! Enjoy :)
