About this listen

We're diving headfirst into the biggest, most talked-about issues out there, but with a twist. Instead of just picking a side, we're all about understanding why people think what they think and why they do not agree with what WE think! In a world that feels super divided, we believe you really get it when you look at things from every angle. Shall we say both sides of the coin? Each episode, we're gonna throw a hot topic at our participants – and yeah, that may include some of our listeners! We'll challenge everyone to really put themselves out there and in someone else's shoes. We'll present the issue, and then build arguments for both sides, even if it goes against what we all personally believe. Our aim here is to get past the surface disagreements, dig into the real reasons behind opinions, and find all those subtle, dirty details that usually get lost amongst the noise, the screaming.. And of course thrown onto social media. So, come join us as we explore the tricky stuff, question what we think we know, and ultimately, figure out the "Two Sides of the Coin." all while drinking good bourbon. Will you get offended… most likely. Will you start questioning some of your own thoughts…. I hope so….2025 Uncomfortable Conversations Social Sciences
