About this listen

The Comix Mixtape is the Cartoonist Cooperative's official podcast, beaming to you from our members across the world! This podcast is a creator-driven celebration of the medium of comics and the community that makes and supports it! It’s comics… you can hear! This is for those who love comics, whether you make them or not, and want to learn more about comics, how to make them, ones to check out, and how to help improve the industry for all. We rotate segments and topics related to comics, so you'll hear anything from interviews, dramatic comics readings, recommendations, technique chat, trivia, and more; all contributed by and featuring our members! It will feature many different voices, and in a sense the whole Co-op is participating. If you're wondering "What's the Cartoonist Cooperative?", well we got an answer! The Co-op is a multinational member-driven group of comics and cartoonists, now over one thousand strong, working together to build community among comics creators and to improve and protect the labour rights of comic industry workers worldwide.
