Kayle sits down at Grange Fair in Centre Hall, PA with Roger & Linda Thoms, along with their youngest son Jason. We find out how they got started in the Clydesdales, what they do for a living and what Draft Horse Experiences they have had along the way! We sat down at Indiana State Fair to talk about some Clydes! We talk about shoeing, breaking, soundness and judging! Chip Lawrence showed Clydes for Jason Hunter for about 10 years. Bryant Hagemann, shod several Clydes and broke several for outside customers. Kyle Savage grew up with Clydesdales and has helped out other Clyde outfits. We had the opportunity to sit down with Ray & Amber McLaughlin and Crissy Heatlie to hear about their history with the Clydesdale horse. We discuss some of the show highlights and some history of the Heatlie breeding history. This family plans on attending the 2025 WCS and will always be at the Royal Winter Fair! Christy & Kayle sat down with the Johnson Family of Springfield, IL while at the 2025 National Clydesdale Sale. We find out how they got their start in the Clydesdale Breed! Having the conversation at the IL State Fairgrounds was kind of serendipitous since it is where Dennis & Linda met and when on their first date! Dennis served on the Clydesdale Breeder's Board of Directors for 21 Years! Dennis & Linda still serve on the National Sale Committee. We would like to also congratulate Grant on being elected to the Board of Directors following this interview. The takeaway from this episode was to Not Dive a Volvo near the arena while halter horses are being shown and Linda Johnson is anywhere in the area!
