Chapter 1 of Child Of The Moon: the true story of one man's year-long journey through expensive sex to priceless spirituality.

Each episode is a chapter read by the author from a diary written back in 2003. Month by month, diary entries will be released roughly twenty years after the events of 2003 occurred.

In this introductory episode, on a night of fearful loneliness and desperation brought on by a marriage breakdown, the author books a prostitute for the first time.

DN Charles continues reading from his 2003 diary - written when he was newly divorced, and living on the edge of a beach in Australia.

In this chapter, which covers the November 2003 Full Moon, he books his second Escort - Kim - but finds the experience completely at odds with his enjoyable October encounter with Sarah.

Before he sees Kim, he enounters a strange man on a beach walk, and after the booking he visits a mountain village to contemplate what he's doing - paying for sex while wanting something much more.

Chapter 4

In this, the December 2003 diary entry, DN Charles books another anonymous escort on the December full moon - Leesa.

When Leesa arrives he quickly discovers that it appears to be she in need of some affection and company that night - an almost 'boyfriend experience'.

After she leaves the author again wonders how much he really knows about this dark business - and how much it may, at times, serve the sexual and emotional needs of both parties involved.

New year, new booking. For the January 2004 full moon DN Charles books Kylie - and it turns out to be the worst experience of the whole year.
