Ingredients:
- 500g fettuccine pasta (1lb)
- 2 tablespoons butter (28g)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces (1lb)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups heavy cream (480ml)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100g)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the pan. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
