Charles Conner is a Mississippi native who loves art, anime, and urban culture. From a young age, art was more than just a pastime; it was a way to express himself and adapt to the world around him. After high school, Charles enlisted in the Army where he served in Iraq. When he returned home, he struggled to reintegrate into civilian life, spending many years battling PTSD. Charles has reconciled with his internal battles and uses his creativity and imagination to create one-of-a-kind abstract pieces. Affectionately known in the artist world as, “The Original Spur,” Charles shares how he morphs passion, culture, and positivity into his work.
