Les jours suivants furent étrangement
silencieux. Stéphanie essayait de ne pas trop y penser, mais au fond
d’elle, une angoisse rampante s’installait. Solange n’avait
plus appelé. Pas un message. Pas une apparition. Rien. Ce silence,
paradoxalement, était plus inquiétant que sa déclaration
explosive.
Romuald, lui, reprit ses habitudes. Du moins en
apparence. Il partait tôt à l’hôpital, rentrait tard, et restait
concentré sur ses lectures bibliques ou ses diagnostics. Mais
quelque chose dans son regard s’était modifié. Une gravité
nouvelle. Comme s’il portait un poids qu’il ne pouvait pas
poser.....
