About this listen

We all have chaos in our lives. Sometimes it’s absolute mayhem and sometimes it’s imagined chaos in our heads. But we all experience it. We all deal with it in different ways. Something I've discovered is that we don’t give ourselves grace. We feel guilt over doing something for ourselves because someone might need something from us. We are mothers, sisters, daughters, friends. And yet we aren’t our own people. We forget ourselves. So, I am standing here, on my soap box, to tell you “Embrace your chaos and find your grace.”

Hey there. My name is Sara-Belle. I am a mom, a wife, and hold down a full-time job. I have also been a single mom, an ex-wife, and an incredibly insecure woman. I still have insecurities, but I am a lot better about not letting them rule my life. I am an open book in this podcast, all the nitty-gritty and the mundane. In this podcast I want to cover a wide range of topics that cover every-day life and some of the outlandish things we deal with, I will include real life people I know are struggling, someone we can relate to because we have been there, or we know someone who has. But most of all I want to shine a light on some of the things that just aren’t discussed enough.

In this episode of Chaos and Grace, I have invited my friend Dena for a candid conversation about the chaos of life, parenting, and the importance of validation among women. We explore how different individuals process chaos, the challenges of parenting, and the complexities of relationships with exes. The discussion also touches on the inadequacies of sex education, the need for strong and aware children, and the dynamics of friendships, including jealousy and support. The episode wraps up with a humorous recounting of a chaotic week filled with urgent care visits and unexpected drama.

In this episode I talk about my favorite person ever. I thought this episode would be really easy but, it turns out, finding the right words to describe this incredible person in my life and how happy he makes me is really hard.

We are not a romance novel or a rom-com movie. We are real and face this life together, in love and in chaos.
