以弗所教会是靠信仰保罗传播的水和圣灵福音而建成的神的教会。文中的“七个金灯台”指神的教会，信仰水和圣灵福音的人聚集在一起，“七星”指当时神的仆人。短语“那右手拿着七星”指神亲自掌握和利用自己的仆人。
