人在心里知道自己的不足就能从神那里获得恩典。我们生活在这世上，有时迫切地感觉需要神的帮助，因为我们不足。这样的心理当得到神的恩典，并且实实在在地在神的时代里体验到他的恩典。那些生活在这个世上知道自己不足，需要神帮助的人远比那些既不知道自己的缺点也不需要神帮助的人更加有福。我们离开神的恩惠每天都不能生活，因此，我们日日夜夜都需要他的恩典。无论我们做什么事，我们在毕生中无论做什么都需要神的帮助，无论在全世界还是在韩国传播福音。我相信这种需要神的帮助本身就是一种祝福，这实际上允许我们披戴神的赐福。
今天时间过得太快，我几乎没有留下什么印象。昨天约翰欣牧师来看我，整天我们都忙于文学传教的工作。我实在太忙了，甚至没有意识到太阳已经落山，当我赶到教堂里拜神时，天已经黑了。现在白天的时间相当短。好像冬天要来了。现在冬天来临了，我心里更加渴望他的恩典，因为今年我还必须做更多的事情。我还衷心希望终身不忘自己的不足，始终真诚地寻求神的帮助。我并不希望自己做一个富裕而不需要神帮助的人。我宁愿做一位心灵和身体非常不足，因此常常需要神帮助的人。我希望每天都生活在神的遮蔽下，请求他的帮助。
