在今天的經文，我們的主說:“野地還沒有草木，田間的菜蔬還沒有長起來；因爲耶和華神還沒有降雨在地上，也沒有人耕地，但有霧氣從地上騰，滋潤遍地。”
神爲什麽說:“沒有人耕地”，僅管他說他創造了天地，又在第6天又造了人呢？當時人到哪里去了？這裏我們需要認識到，在今天的經文裏，神是絕對正確的，他要向我們顯明他的好意。
