  • Peace Begins in the Heart | A Lenten Reflection
    Mar 5 2026

In this episode of Catholic Talks with Moses, we reflect on the urgent call to pray for peace in our world.

As tensions and conflicts continue to affect nations and families, we are reminded as Christians that true peace does not come from power, weapons, or revenge. True peace is a gift from God, and it begins in the human heart.

During this season of Lent, we are invited to turn back to the Lord, to forgive, to seek reconciliation, and to become true peacemakers in our daily lives.

We also remember the message of Our Lady of Fátima, who appeared in 1917 and asked the world to pray the Rosary every day for peace.

May this episode encourage you to pray more deeply, trust in God more fully, and join in asking for peace in our world.

  • What Lent Really Means | The Desert, The Cross, and Conversion
    Feb 26 2026

In this episode of Catholic Talks with Moses, we reflect on the true meaning of Lent after entering the season through Ash Wednesday and the First Sunday of Lent.

After watching The Passion of the Christ, I was reminded of something heavy but necessary — sin is not light. Lent is not just about giving up snacks or posting ashes online. It is about understanding what sin costs and responding with real conversion.

    We dive into:

    • The Temptation of Jesus in the desert (Luke 4:1–13)

    • Why the Church gives us forty days

    • The danger of treating confession as a “free pass”

    • How subtle temptations shape our habits

    • What it truly means to return to God

    Lent is spiritual battle.

    Lent is discipline.

    Lent is mercy.

But most importantly — Lent is an invitation to come back to God seriously.

If you need a Lent reset, this episode is for you.

  • We’re Back: A Time for Prayer and Reflection
    Feb 5 2026

After a short break, Catholic Talks with Moses is back! In this heartfelt episode, we reflect on staying faithful in challenging times, trusting God, and finding hope even when life feels overwhelming. We talk about pressing events in our world, including the struggles many families face today, and the importance of lifting them up in prayer.

We also discuss the recent incident at Holy Innocents Catholic School in Long Beach, where the sacred Tabernacle was disturbed — a reminder of the reverence we must show for the Eucharist and the Mass, and the need to keep our faith strong no matter the circumstances. Through all of this, we reflect on the call to love one another as Christ commands us and the mission that guides this podcast: to grow closer to God together.

Additionally, I share personal updates and ask for your prayers as I attend a 3-day Confirmation retreat at the end of February, praying that both I and the students grow spiritually. And for those who have been following my journey, I’m excited to announce a new Spanish version of the podcast, Charlas Católicas con Moses, starting this March, where we’ll continue sharing the same reflections and lessons for all Spanish-speaking listeners.

🙏 Let’s continue walking together in faith, prayer, and love.
