Yates had a good breakdown of Alabama’s Ty Simpson should Monti Ossenfort have, as Yates said, “strong conviction” to select a quarterback in the first round. There was also discussion on the potential of going offensive line or edge rusher, the depth of the draft class at wide receiver, and speaking of wide receiver, Yates is holding out hope he’s able to convince his expected wife to name their child Michael Wilson Yates.
