Créée sur France Culture avec, entre autres, Judith Magre et Bulle Ogier, cette pièce fut mise en scène au théâtre par Pierre Pradinas avec Catherine Frot, Brigitte Bocage, Michèle Brule, Philippe Fretun, Yann Collette, Jean-Marc Montel et Nöel Herr. Elle fut jouée notamment en janvier 1977 à l'Espace Pierre Cardin.
"Freaks Society" est disponible dans les "Œuvres complètes 1971-1974" d'Yves Navarre (H&O, 2018), ainsi qu'en ebook ("Théâtre 1", H&O, 2020).
