 L'1 d'octubre del 2022 un vaixell mercant localitza una pneumàtica desinflada a la deriva al sud de Gran Canària. A l'interior hi troben un supervivent, el Fofana, i quatre cadàvers. És la mateixa embarcació que va sortir de Lamsid gairebé nou dies abans amb 34 persones a bord. Hi ha 29 desapareguts. Les famílies en origen viuen en un estat d'incertesa esperant una trucada que no arriba. Viatgem al Senegal per parlar-hi.
