  • Jess & Noemie Fox and Cate & Bronte Campbell walk into a podcast studio…
    Mar 29 2026

Sisters and Olympic champions Jess and Noemi Fox open up about the delicate balance of competing for the same podium while maintaining an unbreakable bond. From Jess’s "GOAT" status to Noemi’s breakthrough gold in Paris, this episode explores how to navigate identity, comparison, and the transition from victim mindset to elite performance.

Master the "Sisterhood Superpower": Learn how the Fox sisters transitioned from rivals to mutual "sparring partners" to achieve Olympic glory.

Overcome Comparison: Noemi shares her raw journey of being "the one who hadn't been to the Olympics" and how she built an identity outside of her sister's shadow.

Inside the Elite Mindset: Discover the visualization techniques and "locked-in" routines used to secure gold on the world’s biggest stage.

The Mother-Coach Dynamic: Gain insight into the unique challenges and benefits of being coached by a parent at the highest level of sport.

    KEY TAKEAWAYS

    • Reframe the Rivalry: Shift from seeing a dominant peer as an obstacle to viewing them as the ultimate benchmark and "sparring partner" for your own growth.
    • Own Your Ambition: Move past the fear of stating your goals out loud; "shrugging along" is often a protective mechanism against the fear of failure.
    • Build a Diverse Identity: Pursue internships, hobbies, and education outside your primary field to ensure your self-worth isn't tethered solely to your performance results.
    • Harness Communal Energy: Draw strength from the success of those around you rather than viewing their wins as a zero-sum loss for yourself.
    • Adapt Your "Runway": Recognise that what worked for you at age 20 may not work at 30; allow your preparation methods to evolve alongside your physical and mental changes.
    • The Power of Vulnerability: Being open about the "yucky" emotions of disappointment allows you to process them faster and return to a state of joy for others.

  • A very vulnerable chat about body image, diet and the relationship between body composition and athletic performance.
    Mar 22 2026

We hope you enjoy this episode of Campbells & Co. Just a heads up, in this episode we will be discussing disordered eating. If this is something you struggle with, please take care when listening.

On the chow this week Cate and Bronte tackle the question they are asked most often: Diet. What should I eat and when? Even though this is a performance related question, it feels a lot more personal than: how much can you lift in the gym?

Cate and Bronte talk about their relationship with food and how it has impacted their performance. They also acknowledge and explore some of the broader societal factors that make talking about food so challenging.
