Hoy me encuentro en Málaga, una ciudad para descubrir y saborear, ya no solo su casco histórico sino también sus nuevos barrios fuera de la almendra central, por ejemplo como por la zona en la que paseo y me encuentro con la calle Manuel AltoLaguirre....me suena su apellido pero...¿de qué? ¿quién fue este señor?
Nacido en Málaga un 29 de junio de 1905 y fallecido en Burgos un 26 de julio de 1959.
Poeta, editor y posiblemente uno de los más importantes miembros de la Generación del 27.
De familia ilustre, su padre era el también conocido Manuel AltoLaguirre Álvarez, juez, periodista y escritor.
Licenciado en derecho por la Universidad de Málaga, aunque realmente se dedicó a la edición e impresión de libros, de él dijo Pedro Salinas que era “El Don Juan de las imprentas”.
