Have you visited The Malt Lounge in London? We went to a whisky and food pairing recently with drams from @wmcadenheads, Japanese inspired canapés, and cocktails mixed by the expert bar staff.
Tucked away within @theprinceakatokilondon, Marylebone, near Marble Arch, the ambience and lighting makes it a joy to spend an afternoon or evening.
Here's the menu for the montly tasting we attended:
Whisky high spritz Smoked belinis and celeriac remoulade
15 year old Ardmore Otoro tartare on lotus crisp
16 year old Glen Elgin Beef takaki, garlic crisps, negi ponza
10 year old Hazelburn Senbei, nashi pear compote
Malty panky Cheese selection.
Shout out to Murray, Sean, Gugliemo, and the staff. We may have stayed afterwards and had a few more expertly made cocktails, because we had so much fun. Loved seeing Tim too!
Whilst the tickets for us were free, this time (thanks), we spent a bunch on drinks apres event. Yes, that level of fun
