THE COMMUNITY BUCKET IS: A "Side Bucket" extension to the Dream Bucket with Jon as the host. In this, an assortment of characters from within the Dream Bucket community with KC, Nick, and Jon will join to share their expertise and wisdom related to community solutions. The subjects will start in the area of family and community life, and, like the Dream Bucket, bounce around to whatever comes up.
On this episode two community workers and a public defendant talk restorative justice in the courts as well as restorative justice in the streets.
Byrd and AJax work alongside Jon doing community work in the schools, justice system, and in the streets. They have many years of experience on the street side as well as the community organization side of healing work in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Eddie is new to the group (though a long-time friend of Jon's), and is a public defender in Hennepin County and is looking to advance initiatives on restorative justice.
