  • The Warrant Officer Historical Foundation strives to preserve history and educate both our military and general public audiences by sharing insight and stories from currently serving and recently retired Army Warrant Officers. This season will examine critical transition points across the Warrant Officer career lifespan, attempt to untangle the many challenging developmental processes, gain perspectives on Warrant Officer identity, and confront the environment of constant change that faces the Cohort.

  • Ep 5 - Transition to WO1

    In Season 3 Episode 5, listeners hear from four new Warrant Officers: WO1 Zachary Smith (Class 24-05: Emerald Green Pythons), WO1 Andrew Gomez (Class 24-12: Denim Blue Narwhals), WO1 Prestin Wilkinson (Class 24-11: Blue Spades), and WO1 Steven Casares (Class 24-02: Lavender Syndels). Each graduated from Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS) in the last five months after USAWOCC implemented the revised academic curriculum and 1ST WOC leadership implemented its revised developmental approach. These four leaders share outstanding tips on preparing for WOCS, thriving at WOCS, and transitioning successfully to appointment as a Warrant Officer 1.
