A few years ago I had the pleasure of hosting an Album Release Party for an Artist with a vision bigger than himself. The project was called "Black Lives Matter" and touched on all of the themes that we are still seeing play out. This was over 5 years ago and his message continues to ring true. In the years since the show, I've personally watched Chris Jackson (@bdpmagazine813) separate and elevate. He saw an opportunity to guide the Artists with no direction and he ran with it.
