Le terme “Carbon bleu” désigne la quantité totale de carbone contenu dans les écosystèmes côtiers. Il s’agit d’un domaine de la recherche encore peu exploré mais dont la contribution pourrait être gigantesque dans bon nombre de sujets environnementaux.
Les plus grands chercheurs du domaine ont été rassemblés pour convenir des dix questions auxquelles il faudra s'atteler à trouver une réponse au sujet du blue carbon dans les prochaines années.
