A K12 Cybersecurity Podcast

Welcome to Episode 4 of C:\bot_run, a podcast focused on discussions and conversations about K-12 cybersecurity.

In our prior episodes of C Bot Run we discussed a variety of organizations that provide services and/or resources that can help schools with their cyber security efforts.  We also discussed just how overwhelming and sometimes confusing it can be to decipher “who’s who?,” How are the organizations related? What exactly do they offer?

This episode continues to build off that foundation by taking a deeper dive into another important player in the cyber security services space – The K12 Security Information eXchange (K12 SIX).  We are excited to have Doug Levin, the Executive Director joining us to discuss the organization, its origins, mission, resources and recommendations to improve cybersecurity posture.

Hosts:

  • Jennette Irish-Glass - Orange City Schools
  • John Rizzo - Shaker Heights City Schools
  • Sean Whelan - West Geauga Schools

Next Month’s Episode : An Interview with Doug Levin of K12 Six.
