I try...I really do. I wanted to get this up on Friday, if for no other reason that to keep me on a schedule. But life keeps getting in the way. However, if I get the newsletter up tomorrow (please subscribe) then I will be back on track. Then I can fall behind again next week!

But on this episode Andrew and I run through, sort of chronologically, the history of the Walt Disney World Hotels. We talk a little about building them, a little bit about design and planning and then some reviews of what we like and don't like sprinkled in.

Ken Bruce has written the most incredible book about Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room! It is chock full of stories and info that was shockingly new to me, and I feel like I have read a lot of Disney books! You really should stop reading this and go order the book. You can thank me later!!!!

Andrew and I spent over an hour just chatting away and I really could have gone on for at least one more! From the genesis of the attraction, to Walt making changes along the way and right down to which is the best Tiki Room...you'll have to listen to find out!

And if you've not familiar with Ken, he's also an legendary animator who's worked for Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks...seriously...Google him! He's incredible! And now I'd like to think he's a friend!

But the reason for a week with no show was because both Andrew and I were in Disney on our regular night! We actually met in real life. Neither of us AI…so that’s something! We had a wonderful meal at Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian and a great time was had by all!

Well, it's not quite a cage match, but this week Andrew and compare and contrast Apples and Churos! I have never been to Universal (cue gasp) so it's completely unfair of me to give my opinion...but I am going to do it anyway! I will also state for the record that I am in no way against Universal parks and am truly looking forward to going and taking it all in.

But until that happens, you are stuck with us just speculating wildly! So have fun, dear listener, and maybe let us know if you love Universal, or is there only room in your heart for one park!

But I do believe that this festival and the Holidays really dress the park up in the best way possible...although, Festival of the Arts. Nevermind.
