Buster tries it and finds it surprisingly tasty. Thanks to the medicine and the healthy snack, Buster quickly feels better, his tummy ache completely gone. Later, when Digly arrives with another chocolate egg, Scout is excited, but Buster, having learned his lesson about eating in moderation, politely declines, leaving the extra treat for Digly and Scout. The pursuit comes to an abrupt halt when Buster crashes into a cactus, puncturing his tire. Just as it seems Bandit will get away, Buster remembers his lasso. He skillfully throws it, capturing the fleeing thief. Unable to drive, Buster drags Bandit Bus back to town and delivers him to the jailhouse, much to Sheriff Otis's delight. Impressed by his bravery and quick thinking despite the setback, the Sheriff rewards Buster by making him an official sheriff's deputy, complete with his own shiny star.
