  • Inspiring lessons we can all learn from an entrepreneur
    Jan 18 2022

On this week’s episode, we are really excited to have Leo Page join us.

Leo shares his life journey of how he started his entrepreneurial journey and what the trigger point was to him taking the plunge into going on his own.

Leo shares golden nuggets in the episode of going from having everything in abundance, loosing it all and then having to build back up again. The lessons shared are so insightful and inspiring and gives everyone the foundational building blocks on how to succeed.

He gives us insights into his next venture and how he plans to makes the lessons he learned impactful and available to everyone.

We end the episode off with one lesson that he would tell his 21-year-old self:

o “Take it slow in business and take your time, don’t try to impress anybody except for yourself. Practise patience and success will come the way that they are supposed to. If you force it, you will break it.”

  • Taking the skies to entrepreneurship
    Dec 16 2021

We are very excited to have Alex MacPhail join us on Business & Beers for an episode filled with so many golden nuggets of wisdom, as Alex takes us through his journey of going from an Airline Pilot to an entrepreneur.

One thing that we get taught is that entrepreneurship might not be pretty but if you put your mind to it, bring what you can bring, and add as much value wherever you can, you will be successful.

The episode is filled with insights that we can learn on working in high-performance teams, surrounding yourself with amazing people, and using your previous experience to make today a success.

Key lessons Alex shares from his experience:

    1. You have to be prepared as you can be, but not at the expense of starting.

    2. Allow your team to fail and be honest about it.

    3. Build trust in your team and trust people in their own domain. Try fast forward trust as fast as possible.
