Conferencia impartida por el profesor Miguel Angel Padilla en la sede de Nueva Acrópolis en Málaga en octubre de 2023.
En esta charla se plantearon las similitudes entre los postulados de la filosofía estoica y el budismo, apoyándose en textos budistas, como el Dhammapada y en los escritos de filósofos estoicos como Marco Aurelio, Séneca, Epicteto o Cicerón.
A lo largo de la conferencia se fue desgranando las ideas que ambas corrientes tienen acerca de aspectos fundamentales y cuestiones que han preocupado al ser humano: la existencia del dolor y el sufrimiento y cómo superarlo, la búsqueda de la serenidad y la autorrealización.
