We, The People! That’s the aroma in the air this weekend, Duckies and we couldn’t have been more excited of the turn out.

The culture around drugs is changing. States all around have passed legislation to legalize decriminalize all kinds of substance. Some come with a heavier price tag than others. But that change in stigma also comes with evolving of research. This month an article came across Manny Oso from Women’s Health by Clare Wiley entitled ‘Why New Moms Are Turning To Mushrooms’. The topic is about psychedelic mushrooms and their use for treatment for Postpartum Depression. Within the article we see how doctors and experts are excited to bring in new experimental studies, but also read about the read tape surrounding such attempts. Not just the hurdle of using magic mushrooms, a schedule 1 drug, in a government funded study. There’s also the hurdle of numbers for a concrete answer. I mean, money shrooms is enough for You or Me? Folks this week we got a story to tell you. And this time it literally just happened to us. So we had to let you know.

We all know Nicky & Manny like to eavesdrop. In fact, Gossip is a cornerstone of their relationship.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one… but it really starts out like a joke. After a half day of walking around and doing some window shopping, your hosts decided to stop for a quick drink. It was in that bar, sitting next to a trio of war vets that in walked a MAGA Hat. Now from here the story takes a turn. The folks in the bar weren’t having it and sure enough drama started. You gotta hear where it. Needless to say, Nicky and Manny had to stay for an extra drink to see it all go down!

Seeing a MAGA in the wild is crazy. Nicky Trendz personally thinks this is her first time seeing one actually interact with others. Like we’re on National Geographic or something. She didn’t know what to expect. But to hear him speak Spanish, that really confused her. Manny Oso on the other hand has been witness to many and knew exactly what to do. Sit quiet and observe!

Nicky Trendz starts off with realizing her right to occupy space. Actually, her right o occupy her OWN space. Especially the space she rents, like her apartment. Manny Oso brings up that maturing is realizing how little time 24 hours really is. And how none of us will ever get the same days off like we thought we would.

Maturing is hard to measure, and we all go thru it a different way and at different times. When it hits us, it’s hard to tell if we are the first one or just the next on to think “is this right?”
