About this listen

Welcome back To the Table. Today we’re talking about seasons of brokenness and restoration. You probably don’t need very long to remember a season of brokenness and the heaviness that came with it. I hope it is just as easy to recall how those broken pieces began to heal. One by one, falling back into their place until you were whole again. Just like so many times before, even in seasons of brokenness, our hope is found in Jesus. You can count on him. He is always faithful, even when we feel hopeless.

Psalm 34:18 - The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 53:5 - But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Jeremiah 32:37 - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

Psalms 103:1-5 - Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
