    Today kicks off Frog Week 2025!

    Cambria, Somerset, Westmoreland, Bedford, and Indiana are home to around eight species of frogs and toads, but these species are declining rapidly due to deforestation.

    A host of events are taking place this year both in person and online to learn more about our frog friends.

    We talked to Aaron Capouellez from PA Woods and Forests about frog week, the technology needed to capture these animals, and the importance of frogs and toads in our area. ​
