  • Ep4 No Kings in America The Sound of the March
    Oct 20 2025

Hey friends — this is Rick Gaspa, and welcome to Episode 4 of Blue Wave Unplugged — “No Kings in America: The Sound of the March.”

You know, sometimes history doesn’t wait for us to plan it — it just happens. And this past week, it happened loud.

Over eight million Americans took to the streets for the No King’s Day March — a coast-to-coast movement for freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. Marches were held in every single state in the nation — even deep in the heart of the reddest Republican strongholds — because people are done being silent. They’re done with fear. They’re done with Donald Trump and his crusade to turn our democracy into his personal monarchy.

What we saw out there wasn’t chaos — it was courage. It was unity. It was America reminding itself who really holds the power.

This episode is our tribute to that moment. You’ll hear stories from the march, reflections from the band, and of course — our new protest anthem, “No Kings in America.” It’s a song born out of resistance, resilience, and the belief that we’re stronger together than any tyrant or wannabe dictator could ever hope to be.

So whether you marched, watched, or just felt it in your heart — this one’s for you. Turn it up, take a breath, and remember: There are no kings in America — not now, not ever.

This is Blue Wave Unplugged, and this is The Sound of the March.

In this powerful new episode, the Blue Wave Revival Band pulls no punches. We’re talking about the rise of authoritarianism in America — how it’s happening, why it’s dangerous, and what everyone of us can do to push back.

This isn’t theory — it’s reality. From censorship to corruption, from propaganda to power grabs, we’re shining a light on how democracy is being chipped away piece by piece. But we’re also lighting a fire — because the fight isn’t over, and the wave is still rising. 🌊

You’ll hear from members of the band sharing their personal reflections, stories from the front lines of activism, and music that reminds us what we’re fighting for. It’s truth, rhythm, and resistance — all rolled into one unforgettable episode.
