BlackFilter is the brainchild of Pellegrino Mazzucchi, a percussionist, DJ, and producer hailing from Modena and born to an Italian father and an Indo-Mozambican mother. "Batuki" is the honest expression of Pellegrino’s sound, blending Afro-Caribbean rhythms with electronic music, combining percussion and acoustic instruments with analog drum machines and synthesizers, resulting in an afro-electro-disco refreshing sonic experience. "Batuki" will be released on Ragoo Records in late April.
