Today’s guest comes right out of the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. We get into “venting” around the topics of fatherhood, youth development, and so much more. Let’s lock in on today’s episode. 😎

Presenting to some and introducing to others, a good brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., receiving his Doctorate from Grand Canyon University … our good friend and brother, Dr. Cameron Jefferson. ⭐️

A graduate of Tennessee State University …Dr. Jefferson wears many hats, his most important one being a father of two. But another important mission that he is pushing involves youth development, mentorship, and affordable housing. We are not talking enough about “Helping Hands Supporting Housing Services, Inc.”

Helping Hands Supportive Housing Services has been proven to help young men, veterans, and the homeless who are in need of affordable housing, mentorship, and a way back into the community as a working class citizen. Cam vents with about his gift of mercy, and how he has a talent of being able to de-escalate situations; which in return helps build more of a rapport for his kids. Nobody talks about how it is vital to establish some sort of relationship with the youth, without abusing your authority as an adult. This generation needs us … and as black men, it’s important that we embrace the mission that Helping Hands SHS is pushing. Dr. Jefferson vents about faith, fatherhood, his parents, and so much more … take some time to listen to black man vent today. ✌🏽

    Good Morning Nashville ☀️

    ITS BLACK HISTORY MONTH! ✊🏽

We’re back! And excited to be dropping another episode as we continue to honor black history month being the FIRST and the ONLY black father and son podcast in the state of Tennessee ⭐️, we are the Black Men Vent Too Podcast!

We are excited to say that today’s guest is a native of West Tennessee! He comes to our show virtually, so be sure to get your volume just right to hear the show. Let’s get into today’s podcast, this one for sure is a good one! 😎

Presenting to some and introducing to others our good friend and brother, Mr. Erin Reid ⭐️

Erin wears a lot of hats in his day-to-day life, one of them being that he is the founder of an independent sports company specializing in the wholesome development of the next generation of athletes. That company is known nationwide as USATOP100, which has served communities and families across the country for the last 7 years. Outside of that, Mr. Reid enjoys being a father, and vents with us about what fatherhood means to him. He stated,

You can’t make a 100% in fatherhood … I am just trying to get a passing grade.”

This statement is louder than you probably can hear, as it speaks to the hidden feeling most men have behind being a father. Never really knowing if you’re doing it “right”, and just having that cloud of insecurity really can be overbearing mentally. Eric vents about how his children have seen the sacrifice; he talks about a time where business was placed over family, due to the grind men get trapped in often times unconsciously. It’s a lot to unpack in today’s episode, but we know you’re going to love this one for sure. Take some time to listen to black man vent today. ✌🏽

    Good Morning Nashville ☀️

    ITS BLACK HISTORY MONTH! ✊🏽

Welcome to the month of February guys as we are excited to take our rightful position within this month, being the FIRST and the ONLY black father and son podcast in the state of Tennessee ⭐️, we are the Black Men Vent Too Podcast!

If you woke up this morning, you’re winning without a doubt. But if you woke up this morning black, then not only are you winning, but you have found a platform that advocates for our black men winning as well by way of them sharing their stories about how they’ve dealt with mental health. Let’s get into today’s podcast, this one for sure is a good one! 😎

Representing Nashville as a native, we have a young black man that knows a thing or two about chopping heads. A master barber in his own right, he has traveled to Atlanta & the DC area for service, and continues to expand his network one head at a time. 💈

Not only is he talented with his hands, but today’s guest is a proud father, a young entrepreneur, and even has a stylist line with one of his close brothers emphasizing the importance of looking good, while striving to be better. We’re presenting to some and introducing to others our good friend and brother, Mr. Dre Guapo. ⭐️

Dre comes to vent on our platform about a lot of things, but he takes time to dedicate a large part of his venting to his mother and how watching her resilience throughout his life helped make him the man he is today.

He states, “I don’t know how my momma did it … she just did it.” 🙏🏽

Growing up in a household of many siblings, Dre being the middle child vents about how he was able to learn a lot from both his younger and older siblings. We get into the conversation about fatherhood, and Dre vents by stating that as a young father …

it’s hard to teach yourself to be a man, and a father at the same time.” 💯

Not just black men … but safe to say if you’ve traveled the journey of fatherhood, no matter your race or ethnicity, we ALL as men can for sure agree to that.

Today’s episode is a good one. Take some time to listen to black man vent today. ✌🏽
