About this listen

Ever wondered what your life would look like, if you woke up excited about your day and went to bed at night, feeling proud and fulfilled? In order to create the life we want, we've got to free up the energy that's stuck in a defense system we built as kids that is literally driving our adult lives most of the time. I'm talking about our ego. Let's look at a way of life beyond it, where we're constantly directing our energy towards what we want to create. To do so, we'll be tackling our biggest wound, namely rejection. It can't be otherwise. Who says big ego says big hurt in the past. Therefore, we'll be talking about healing. We'll be working towards healing. We'll be moving away from the grips of our ego, transforming it into energy usable for our highest goals. Ego was designed for us to survive, an archaic defense mechanism. Ready to get on the offensive? Hosted on Ausha. Hey! It's good to see the podcast has piqued your interest. My name is Marc-André Rizk. Been playing around the idea of hosting a podcast for a while now and finally decided to do it. I want to have fun with it and I want it to be meaningful. That's why you'll see how the format is pretty simple and straightforward, that's the fun part for me. I want to be able to enjoy the process.

As for the meaningful part, I've been studying and working in this field of counseling and coaching for nearly 15 years now. In the era we are now in, the start of the Golden Age, seemed about right to talk about what stands in the way of feeling like that's the era we're in! I'm talking about our ego standing in the way, of course, and in order to enjoy the next years, decades (and centuries to come!), we've got to get out of the grips of our defense system, our ego.

Thanks for listening and see you in the next episode!
