About this listen
We're officially at the very end of the 2025 high school football season - so let's break down six of the seven state finals! Black Friday at MetLife Stadium was highlighted by the two Non-Public state championships and the guys have full breakdowns from St. Joe's and DePaul Catholic securing state titles (03:34). James Mooney joins the show live to discuss the Groups 5, 4, 3 and 1 state championship games that all had the same theme - South Jersey dominance. Washingtown Township, Winslow, Cedar Creek and Glassboro all won group titles and the guys go through each title game (27:42). This week's Blast from the Past profiles former Don Bosco Prep QB Nick Minicucci, who broke Joe Flacco's single season yards per game record at the University of Delaware (49:52). Then, Rich and Jay announce the finalists for the 2025 Zoneman Trophy, which is JSZ's annual statewide Player of the Year award. We highlight previous winners and discuss why we chose the seven finalists for this year's honor (51:57). Finally, we close out the show with a behind-the-scenes look at how we choose our All-Zone football team (01:16:19).
