 In the kingdom of Blue Jewel, the king has summoned a group of adventurers to help him with a pressing matter. These adventurers later adopt the name of Barry & the Lifeguards and have been sought out for their unique skills and abilities. The mission is to investigate the sudden disappearance of the King's daughter who was supposed to marry the prince of a far land as well as protecting the King from a supposed assassination plan. As the group sets out on their quest, they quickly realize that this is no ordinary mission. There are dark forces at work, determined to keep the word of the King and the rewards he offers each of them. The journey is filled with epic battles, treacherous terrain, and unexpected twists and turns. Barry, the leader of the group, is a Paladin who doesn't know he's magical. He's joined by Nesston, a Tiefling assassin, who uses magic and deception to fool people's perception. Shellshock the Tortle talks with fists and not mind, seeks to be the greatest fighter all will know with time. Now Curtis the necromancer his story is strange, for his penis malfunctions just like his age. Kevin the Kenku can polymorph at times and goes for anything that has a great shine. Leviticus’ story is saddest of all, he worked for the navy till he got the call. Slaughtered innocents by the royal decree, then was stripped of his badge and thrown out to sea. As they get closer to the princess's location, they realize that the kingdom is in even greater danger than they thought. Demons are planning something for the Kingdom of Blue Jewel. Putting the entire realm in peril. It's up to Barry & the Lifeguards to save the kingdom and recover the Princess before it's too late. Will they succeed in their mission and become the new heroes of the kingdom, or will they fall to the dangers that await them?
