Kamungo immigrated to Abilene, Texas as a teenager where played high school before being noticed at an open tryout for FC Dallas' reserve team in 2021. Two and a half years later, Bernard Kamungo (still just 21) scoring goals in the big leagues and is one of Major League Soccer's rising stars.
