About this listen

In this episode, I talk with three time Jesse award winning theatre, television and film actor and gay rights activist, Allan Morgan. Allan makes his podcast debut with Dear Brambling Podcast and I'm so honoured to have him! In this conversation, Allan tells us a bit about his story growing up back in Ontario. Allan also holds space for my grief while I share with him my recent traumatic story. He also delves into one of his most memorable relationships he had, the grief of loosing him the same year I was born. More importantly, however Allan and I discuss what it means to belong to yourself. After listening back to this conversation, I was trying to find a word that encapsulates our conversation, and the only word I could come up with is: beautiful.

Be warned, this conversation will have some colourful, mature language and will be talking about some traumatic things. Please take care of yourself.

I hope you enjoy the first part of this conversation as much as I did, and the next part will be coming out next week!
