In a race, the athletes train extensively to be the fastest that they can be. They will give up their time, they will change their diet and they will endure pain to win the race. They can do all of that but if they make the mistake of turning and looking back at their competitors they will probably lose first place. Do not spend your Christian life looking back at the past.
