BAYWATCH NIGHTS. David Hasselhoff shows us another side of everyone’s favorite lifeguard, Mitch, as he starts a beach-centric private eye business, and apparently never sleeps. But no matter how good of a P.I. you might be, you’ll never see the crazy genre pivot this show takes in its second season.
Nobody wanted this spin-off, and the wildly successful original show didn’t need a franchise. It’s the TV equivalent of a waiter pouring hot fudge all over a steak you were in the middle of enjoying.
