  • BallCourt - The World of Basketball - All-Star Weekend Edition
    Feb 25 2022

This week, Coach Drew talks about the top issues in basketball including:

       ◦   The NBA All-Star game in Ohio.    ◦    Two of Akrons greatest born basketballers put on a show at Cleveland ASG.
        ◦    Lake Show to Sh*t Show.  Could ASG comments be the beginning of the end for Lakers and LeBron.
        ◦ Jerry West, Lakers legend as player, coach and exec, says NBA team now treats him like ‘piece of trash’

     ◦  A Coaches look:  Top 75 ranking: Top ten:
Michael Jordan tops the list, followed by LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson and Wilt Chamberlain. The top 10 continues with Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson and Kobe Bryant.

     ◦ Overrated:
Pete Maravich ( No. 54). Though he had 5 All Star appearances he did not enjoy as much post season success as former MVPs like Russell Westbrook.

     ◦ Most Underrated:
James Harden (No. 50) It feels like he got demoted several spots due to being in the middle of -- or creating, if we're being totally honest -- yet another melodrama
