"Bad Company" is the debut studio album by the English rock band Bad Company. The band consisted of ex-Free band members Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke, ex-Mott the Hoople member Mick Ralphs, and ex-King Crimson member Boz Burrell. Released on 26th June 1974 on Swan Song Records, the album was recorded at Headley Grange with Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio in November 1973. "Bad Company" reached the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart in the United States and is regarded as a classic of the hard rock genre. The album featured hits like "Can't Get Enough," which peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart, and "Movin' On," which reached No. 19. It also includes the title track "Bad Company" and "Ready for Love," among others. The album has been certified five times platinum in the United States, indicating sales of five million copies. Despite its commercial success, critical reception of "Bad Company" has been mixed, but it is often recognized for its influence on hard rock and early heavy metal.
