The Miami Hurricanes have just landed a verbal commitment from blue chip safety Hylton “Drake” Stubbs. The four star prospect out of Mandarin HS in Jacksonville chose the Hurricanes over the Florida Gators. Stubbs had been committed to the USC Trojans but decomitted in late June. Stubbs put up incredible stats in his junior season, including 97 total tackles, 6 interceptions, 2 and a half sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Stubbs becomes Miami’s 16th verbal commit for the Class of 2025.
