### 🎧 BONUS EPISODE — *Marriage: Where Do I Start?*

Homework Follow-Up

This bonus episode is a direct follow-up to our November 3rd release, *“Marriage — Where Do I Start?”* If you listened to that episode, you know we didn’t just talk about change — we challenged you to *take action.*

Today, we’re walking through your homework and showing you how to put it into practice so you can build real connection and momentum in your marriage.

💪 **Your Homework This Week:**

1. **Focus on what you can affect** — your **attitude**, **effort**, and **actions**. These are the daily keys that shape your marriage.

2. **Observe your inner dialogue.** What do you say to yourself when challenges arise or when you and your spouse have hard conversations? Ask yourself honestly:

* Am I punishing my spouse on purpose?

* Am I hurting them emotionally on purpose?

3. **The Gratitude Exercise:** For **7 days**, speak out loud **one thing you’re grateful for** each day. Words have power — use them to build connection.

4. **Reality Check Exercise:** Finish this sentence: *“At this point in my life, I am here... vs. I thought I would be here...”* Reflect on what that means and what you can do next.

These small, intentional steps will create real movement — not just in your relationship, but in *you.*
