 Dans ce nouvel épisode de Regards Croisés, Christophe Rousset reçoit la soprano française Axelle Fanyo. C’est en 2018 qu’il la découvre alors qu’il est membre du jury du Concours Reine Elisabeth à Bruxelles. Axelle n’est pas retenue en finale, mais Christophe ressent un coup de foudre artistique et lui propose plusieurs rôles. Depuis, la carrière d’Axelle Fanyo a pris son envol et on la retrouvera en juin aux Etats-Unis dans un opéra de Saariaho sous la baguette de Salonen.
