Just days before leaving to fight for his country on the battlefields of World War 1, Jack O'Rourke dives into Sydney Harbour to save a drowning man. It is the beginning of a saga that takes the reader on a historical roller coaster ride of emotions. Though set in a small Australian country town, this is a big story in so many ways.
