Dimension X was one of only two science fiction shows made for adult listeners. The role of Mrs. Davis (Connie's landlady) was recast and reshaped into a much more ditzy type. Similarly, the role of Mr. Conklin was eventually recast to feature the wonderful Gale Gordon. This is definitely representative of a different era, as indicated by Miss Brooks getting a ride to school from her 16 year old student. Mel Blanc provided the "voice" of the barking dog.
