Late, late, late! We recorded this episode just a few days before I left for the Philippines, which was a month ago! But I am very excited to be bringing it to you all just ahead of our Dad's birthday on February 28th. I think its appropriate, because this episode was really special. Myself, Carson, and Lauren talk all about our lives recently, the changes ahead, and this first year without our dad. It gets deep, as most of our convos do, but there is plenty of laughter and joy. We hope you enjoy, and we hope to have a new episode in the not-so-distant future! Stay tuned!

Grayson and Carson sit down with brother and guest Walker Davis, for the second episode of Attention Deficit pod.

On this second episode we are talking everything music, from our favorite bands, to our most underrated bands, to songs that instantly make us feel. 

As always, we greet you with an update for the first half of the show, then dive deep into the content. We are so excited to have Walker Davis on the show this week. Walker is Grayson's half brother, and a brother in bond to Carson. Music is such a huge part of who all three of us are, and so much of that relates back to dad once again. Steve Black was a father-figure to us all, and a love for music is just one of the many qualities he instilled in us. We all have a passion for music and had a blast exploring this topic.

We also have a new segment this week at the end of the show, where next episodes host picks the topic for the next episode. From here forward, Grayson and Carson will take turns hosting the show, and at the end of each episode, next episode's host will roll a 20-sided die to determine the next subject area. Each number on the die corresponds with a topic, and those are as follows:

On this first one we are talking dad, death, and...damn I can't think of another "D" word.

We dive deep into who we are, how we got here, and how this past year has changed us. We lay out why we are doing a podcast, where it's headed, and even dip our toes into the fun. Oh, and we talk music...which we will be diving deep into next time.

Overall, the theme of this episode is our dad, who we lost in January, 2022 to Covid. So much of who we are comes back to him, and we give him all the much deserved credit in this episode.
